1 Short Rib Plate
1 Cup Pepper
1/2 Cup Salt
2 Cups Flamethrower Sweet Rub
1 Bottle Obsession Symphony
1 Bottle Rob's Sweet Sophistication Sauce
In mixing bowl, mix your dry ingredients.
In a sauce pan, reduce down 1 cup of obsession wine. Once reduced down add one bottle of Sweet sophistication sauce.
Lightly spray short ribs with Obsession Symphony.
Heavily coat all of short rib with dry ingredients.
Put in the fridge for 4 hours.
Get your smoker ready! Set temperature to 250 degrees put in pecan wood for smoking. Once you see white smoke, put the short ribs on.
Smoke for 5 hours, spritzing with Obsession Symphony every 30 minutes.
Place short rib in 4 inch deep 1/2 pan fill with Obsession Symphony until the wine hits the bottom of bone. Cover in foil. Place back in smoker for 1 1/2 hours
Take out of pan and grill on high heat, basting with bbq sauce. Do this until the sauce becomes sticky.
Take off grill and let rest for 20 min. Cut and enjoy the goodness!
